In the Interest of World Peace Let us Dispense with Regional Politics

Regional politics is like the curtain hanging between the front room an the back part of the house.  We hide behind the regional issues so we don't have to take on the larger issues.  Being a great fish in a small lake has come easy to our people but the life does not suit us.  I think we need to play a larger role on the world stage and that means pay less attention to our regional differences.

I spent me savings again and now I am without a Rand to my name until I get paid again.  I don't know why I do that.  I swear to myself every time I do this I will set aside my savings and not spend it.  And then some chommie calls me and says, "Let's do the jol this evening" and then I'm like "I'll make a plan".

In America Everyone Dances with Cheese and Hums Happy Songs

Americans are funny folk.  Do you know what I mean?  They act all happy and that but when things don't go their way they get upset as fit and then you're asking if you can help them sort things out.  I mean, can't they do their homework like we do?  I know how the rest of the world feels about them.

Exchanging Currencies Overseas is Maddening

If you have never traveled to another country you have not enjoyed the pleasure of watching the exchange agents take your hard-earned cash and turn it into less cash.  They have an absolutely magical power for doing this.  Thomas Cook are especially adept at converting my money into less value than I thought I should have.  I don't know quite how they manage it.

Happy Crazy Days Like This Make Me to Go On Living

This has been a great day for me.  I wish I could list all the things that feel like they have gone right for me.  But I don't want to share too much information.  TMI syndrome permeates the online world right now and I am doing my part to cure us of that ill.  :)
